We set our hearts to trust Him, relying on the power of God rather than in the wisdom of man for all that we need. Form of Worship Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, for this is your true and proper worship. - Romans 12:1 "If you love me, keep my commands." - John 14:15 "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." - Luke 9:23 We believe that worship is a way of life. We take Jesus at His word and devote ourselves to living out His commands. We are willing to embrace sacrifice when needed as an essential element of following after Him. Financial Strategy Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Mathew 6:33 We aim to align ourselves with God’s will in full expectation and trust that He will provide all that is needed for His purposes. We are fully dependent on God moving for our provision, whether in the hearts of His people to contribute to our work or through supernatural means. We do not make solicitations for finances or our needs, we do not charge money for ministry, and refuse to turn God’s house into a marketplace. We submit ourselves to the governing authorities because they are appointed by God. We know that Jesus is King and is coming to judge all nations. Spiritual Training The HUB is is an equipping center for everyone to grow in our knowledge and service to God. This means that all of us are in training… including you! Each of our scheduled training sessions is focused on various aspects of growing in revelation and experiential knowledge of God, His Word, and His ways. As a vital part of hands-on training, we encourage our Guests & Visitors to participate as the Lord leads and as is appropriate in each session. Please be submissive to the appointed leaders for each session.* We seek to maintain the flow of the Holy Spirit according to God’s order for our times together. (See 1Corinthians 14:40) Ministry Disclosures *Those who are disruptive or seek to establish unauthorized or separate groups will be asked to leave. Overnight Accommodations & Fellowship Meals We offer simple and comfortable overnight accommodations at the HUB and provide healthy, family-style meals free of charge every day.* Overnight Guests MUST apply in advance and may apply to stay at the HUB for up to one week. Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. You will be placed in a room with a few others of your same biological gender. Each room sleeps 2-4 people. Meals are provided in our dining area according to schedule so that everyone can be ready for our spiritual services. Please be sure to come to the HUB with the right mindset . Guest Application *Please understand that we cannot accommodate special food preparation requests. If our food does not meet your specifications, there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Practical Service in God's House All kinds of service matters to God! Visitors and Guests are encouraged (but not required) to serve alongside our Crew in practical ways. Each of our Crews uses their varied abilities at the HUB for the glory of God. If you are willing to share your skills with us, please check with the Office to receive direction on how your abilities might align with our current needs and priorities. Joining Our Crew We are deeply committed to our Crew Members. If we mutually believe that God has called you to be a part of our Crew, we will walk with you in your journey with God towards spiritual maturity and the fulfillment of God's Kingdom purpose for your life. About Our Crew Our Crew consists of unique individuals who sense the call from God that the HUB their place of service for His Kingdom. We firmly believe that God is establishing the HUB not only as an equipping center from all nations to all nations but also as a refuge for His people to live by faith and bring Him glory in the times leading up to the return of Christ. Our Crew includes people who live nearby, those who live remotely, and those who live at the HUB as a Sojourner. Some projects do require in-person participation but much can be accomplished remotely as long as we are all pulling together in the same direction. We use technology and tools to stay in contact and keep communication open and flowing. If you sense God stirring your heart to serve God with us as a member of our Crew,* we invite you to submit an application and discover what God has in store for us. *Please note, Crew Membership is a mutual commitment to serving God together. In the Apostle Paul's letter to the Corinthians, the word used for “minister” means “under-rower.” This refers to servants who sat below the decks of ships to pull the oars and row in time with one another at their captain’s commands. At the HUB we are one Crew and together we follow the commands of our King, Jesus. Each individual Crew has unique responsibilities that are vital to life at the HUB. As such, many different types of skills and service are highly valued. We rely on one another as we seek to establish a dwelling place for God and a refuge for His people.
